Car Park Changes

Why has the Club introduced car park controls?

The Club car park has increasingly been used by people who are not visiting the Club. Many cars have been parking before the Club even opens, which reduces parking availability for members and patrons using our facilities.

These new controls ensure there are more parking spaces available for people who are actually using the Club, especially during busy periods.

Is parking still free for members?

Yes. Parking is free for members and patrons who make a purchase within the club, and they have been using the Club facilities for the whole duration of their stay and validate their parking ticket before exiting. Simply:

  1. Take a ticket when entering the car park.
  2. Make a purchase inside the Club (food or beverage) or using Coast Fitness HQ facilities.
  3. Validate your parking ticket at the point of sale before leaving the club.
  4. Coast Fitness HQ patrons should validate their ticket at Coast Fitness HQ reception before exiting.
  5. Validation must occur on the same trading day as entry.

What happens if I don’t validate my ticket?

If your ticket is not validated, the system will automatically apply parking fees when you exit the boom gate.

You can pay using a credit or debit card only at the gate.

What purchases allow ticket validation?

Parking validation is available when making food or beverage purchases within the Club, as well as Coast Fitness HQ usage.

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Do purchases at Monkey Mania, Clip n Climb, Peking Garden, Bingo and Poker count?

No.

These businesses operate as tenants and are not Club facilities, so purchases made there cannot be used to validate parking.

If you only visit these venues, parking fees will apply.

What are the parking fees?

  • 0-3 hours: $5
  • 3-5 hours: $10
  • Over 5 hours: $25
  • Lost ticket: $25

Parking fees are waived when a purchase is made within the Club and your ticket is validated.

What happens on event days?

Special event parking applies 3 hours before kick-off.

  • Members: $15 (must present a valid and current membership card before entry)
  • Visitors: $30 (paid at entry)

Arriving early is recommended, and you can still enjoy parking prior to the Special Event parking fees applying.

What time does the car park close?

The car park closes daily at 4:00am. Vehicles left inside between these times:

  • May not be able to exit until reopening
  • May incur additional charges
  • May be towed if left for extended periods

What happens if someone refuses to pay the parking fee?

The car park is private property. Repeated refusal to comply with the parking system may result in:

  • Banning from the car park and the Club
  • Wheel clamping (removal fee $1,000)
  • Towing at the owner’s expense
  • Suspension or expulsion from the Club

Who manages the car park?

The Club manages the car park for the benefit of members and patrons using Club facilities.

These rules apply equally to everyone to ensure fair access to parking.
