Member Notice


The Central Coast Leagues Club (the Club) wants to assure you that the health and safety of the community is of paramount importance to us. The Club will continue to work diligently at maintaining its hygiene standards throughout the Club and continue to execute measures within our control. The Club will follow recommendations from State and Federal Government and our Central Coast Local Area Health District to prepare for increased presence of the COVID-19 virus in our area. 

Risk management measures have been implemented, and any further advice will be communicated to you through social media, internal advertising and through our team of staff. Our approach to ensure the venue continues to be a venue of choice for the community is as follows;

We will be directing all our staff to notify us if they:

  •       Have travelled overseas in the last 14 days – will require medical clearance before returning to work 
  •       Have been in contact with a person who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days – will require medical clearance before returning to work

It is mandatory for all staff to:

  •       Clean their hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub
  •       Cover their nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
  •       Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  •       Stay home if they are sick


Protocol Preventive Measures
☒ Hand Washing Protocol A4 Signs are now up in the Club advising people of hand washing protocol. At entry points, bathrooms and Club restaurant hand sanitizing stations have been set up.  
☒ Cleaning Hard Surfaces Protocol Protocol has increased the frequency of cleaning completed on all surfaces through our employees and contracted cleaning services.

Hospital grade disinfectant will be used to clean tabletops & now to include chairs after each meal service

Hospital grade disinfectant used to clean floors after each meal service – current standard

Disinfectant used to clean all benchtops in the kitchen – current standard.

Hospital grade disinfectant used to clean poker machines regularly. 

☒ Hands & Gloves Use Disposable gloves available to be used from service prep to end of service is now required.

Mandatory latex gloves will be provided for all staff at cash handling points and all service areas. 

☒ Offices  Equipment such as, but not limited to phones, computer keyboards, filing cabinet handles to be wiped down with disinfectant after individual single use.   

Desks and chairs to be wiped down with disinfectant after single use

☒ Food Storage  Sanitising fridges, freezers and cupboard storage to be executed every second day during the working week

We trust you respect the Clubs right to exercise safety protection measures which may include but not limited to asking a person to leave the premises, should we deem them to be showing obvious signs of illness to recover and reduce the risk to others.
